Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
Met by your guide and taken to hotel. Welcome dinner.
Day 2 Beijing
After breakfast, you will visit the enormous Forbidden City,
built more than 500 years ago and off limits to commoners for almost all that
time. Hutong is another fine example of extraordinary workmanship. In the
evening, enjoy dinner and a performance of the unique Beijing Opera.
Day 3 Beijing
Morning transfer to Simatai Great Wall, hiking this least
visited, largely unrestored, and most beautiful section of the Great Wall. Return to Beijing for overnight.
Day 4 Xi'an
Visit Temple of Heaven and learn to play Taichi. Also
visit Summer Paplace. In the evening take an overnight soft sleeper train to
Xi’an (12hrs, 20:40--08:29+1)

Day 5 Xi'an
Arrive in Xi'an in
early morning, met and taken to the hotel for breakfast. Afterward,
visit Terracotta Warriors, these entombed statues are considered one of the
most important archaeological finds of the century. Over 6,000 of them were
individually sculpted from clay, each having a different costume, height and
even facial expression;Bicycle
ride on Xi'an's Ancient City Wall. Stay in Xi’an。
Day 6 Lijiang
Fly to Lijiang, is the capital of the Naxi people, a small but
fascinating ethnic minority known for their matriarchal society, their
pictographic language, and their distinctive music. Visit Balck Dragon Pool
Park and Dongba Museum as time permit. Stay in Lijiang
Day 7 Lijiang
Walking tour of Puji Temple and the villages on the foot
of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Visit Old city. Stay in Lijiang
Option:Enjoy
a concert of traditional Naxi music as your
wishes. Stay in Lijiang.
Day 8 Shangri-La
Drive to Shangri-La County, en route visit Yangtse River,
also stop at stop at famous Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the deepest gorges in
the world. Arrive in Shangri La for dinner.
Day 9 Shangri-La
We will visit Songzanlin Monastery, built at the instruction
of the fifth Dalai Lama in the 17th century. Also visit the prayer wheel
overlooking the old town and visit a Tibetan family and sample the Tibetan Yak
Butter Tea. Stay in Shangri La.
Day 10 Shangri_la to Shanghai
Fly to Shanghai via Kunming; met and check in hotel.
Day 11 Shanghai
You visit the famousYuyuan Gardens and Bazaar, a
fascinating highlight of the city and worth exploring for its tranquil Chinese
garden and wonderful food stalls. You also visit Shanghai Museum and French
Concession. Stay in Shanghai.
Day 12 Shanghai
Drive to Suzhou, famous for its canals and silk industry. However,
its most famous assets are its magnificent landscaped gardens, which are all
works of art. Enjoy a rickshaw ride through the old town section. Afterwards,
embark on a boat ride to Han Shan Si Temple (Cold Mountain Temple). You also
visit Tiger Hill, which is surrounded by rivers and covered with pine and plum
trees. Here you can see the Yunyan Pagoda, Suzhou’s oldest pagoda built in the
Sui Dynasty (581-618) and the Duanliang Hall, which was built in the Tang
Dynasty (618-907). Continue on with a visit to the Gardens – the Humble
Administrator’s Garden is recommended for its fine example of gardens and is
one of the four most famous gardens in China. Visit the Silk and Embroidery
factory before returning to Shanghai for your overnight.
Day 13 Onward flight
Drive to Pudong International Airport. Our service ends of here.
